Built in 1906 for Charles Farquharson, this classic red brick house is a fine example of Edwardian architecture. Many architectural features have been carefully preserved to keep the spirit of the house alive.
Nestled on a quiet tree-lined street in the heart of downtown Stratford, The Caversham House is walking distance to the Festival Theatre, Avon and Studio Theatres. As well, it is just a short walk to the newly re-designed Tom Patterson Theatre which Globe and Mail predicts “will become one of the most important cultural venues in the country.” Just a few blocks from the city’s finest shops, restaurants, and picturesque parks, guests have many opportunities to experience Stratford’s delights.
